Alchemend was born from a fascination with what already exists and the possibility of what it could become.

Founded and created by Yaz, Alchemend transforms thrifted and secondhand textiles into one of one garments, each individually redesigned, reconstructed, and handmade.

Nothing begins with a blank canvas. Every piece carries a history of its own. Through thoughtful reconstruction, those elements are brought together to create something entirely new.

At the heart of Alchemend is the belief that beauty doesn’t always require something new. Sometimes, it’s found in what already exists.

Each garment is created with intention, keeping textiles in circulation while giving them a new purpose. No two pieces are the same, and because every design is individually constructed, nothing is made to be replicated.

Alchemend is a study in transformation, taking the familiar and making it unexpected.
